Up to £21,000 basic
+ £300 per month Shift Allowance

Contract – Full-time
Due to the nature of the IT Industry, the 3rd Line IT Service Desk Engineer is required to work 1 week of evening shifts + 1 weekend day every 6 weeks. This will be discussed further at interview stage.
5 Weeks of Normal working hours
Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm.
1 Week of Evening shifts
Monday – Friday, 3.00pm – 10.00pm
NOTE: Night Shift (£300 per month Bonus)
1 Month in every 6 months working the following Night Shift;
4 Nights ON, 4 Nights OFF

The purpose of the Remote 1st Line Service Desk Engineer:
Acting as the first line of service for our customers by logging tickets from phone calls, emails and from our monitoring system. Resolving first line incidents and work requests, driving a ‘first time fix’ ethos as well as escalating tickets to senior engineers in line with company processes. This role has far greater scope for technical development than standard customer-facing roles and will require an ambitious person that has the necessary soft skills with a desire to drive their career forward.
Service Desk Engineers will be required to progress all support incidents in line with customer SLA’s ensuring a professional and effective approach to the first-time resolution ensuring proactive and agile management of tickets and the ability to constantly re-evaluate priorities.
This is a shift based role and the shift pattern includes infrequent night shifts.
