360 Recruitment are a specialist IT recruiter, currently recruiting for two 2nd Line Service Desk Engineers for a 6 month fixed term contract.
Role: 2nd Line Engineer
Day Rate: Ranging from £150.00 – £250.00 per day, dependant on experience
Start Date: 1st July 2019
Type: 6 Month, Fixed Term Contract, Full time
The purpose of the 2nd Line Engineer:
The 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer will in the majority of cases be the escalation point and will deal with the bulk of technical tickets that are raised, providing expert knowledge to internal clients, across a wide range of leading technologies including but not limited to Microsoft, Citrix and VMWare.
Provide an escalation point for the 1st Line Engineers
Take ownership of support tickets that are escalated to you and ensure they are resolved, communicating with the customer and keeping them informed at all times
When necessary, escalating the ticket to the Senior 3rd Line Engineers for final resolution.
Skills and Experience:
Technical experience at a 2nd line level.
Good knowledge across any of the following technologies: Windows 10, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and VMware.
Knowledge of Networking and Firewalls would be advantageous.
Well organised and able to multi-task

Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
