A well established and reputable accommodation booking agency are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Account Manager to join their small team in Bournemouth.
Our client is an accommodation booking agency. They specialise in booking bedrooms, conference spaces, meeting rooms, fringe event spaces for conferences all over the country. They enjoy a lot of repeat business, some of their client base have been coming back for over 20 years!
They deal in over 30 different conferences annually from ladies chorus singers to journalists, charities and major PR companies across the UK. A big area of them are political party conferences, which makes September a very busy time!
The role is exciting and challenging particularly in the run up to an event or conference. Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure is key, as well as a good attention to detail. You will be taking instructions from clients and will aim to deliver accommodation to best suit needs and budgets often on a tight turn around.

In return you will be part of a small and friendly team. You will have the support of your co-workers and will become part of the “get stuck in and help each other” culture. There are no sales targets, or any sales pressures.
With September being a very busy time you will need to be happy to put some extra work in to ensure the smooth progress of convention planning and running. Ideally you will also be happy to take a turn in the on-call rota, this is a maximum of 2 weekends a year and simply involves manning the on-call phone over the weekend. Should you need to, you will work with the venue or client to resolve any problems that arise.
Central Bournemouth location.
Starting salary is £18,000-£22,000 depending on experience, with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
