& Travel to Ipswich Office 2 times a month

About the Role: 

Providing day to day leadership to Cloud technology delivery teams and providing delivery assurance across the delivery lifecycle.

• Responsible for the continuous evolution of our people, processes, and tooling capabilities in line with customer and industry demand signals.
• You will manage the skills, accountabilities, and overall performance of the teams of technical experts to meet business objectives and support career progression.
• You need to be AGILE by nature with the ability to traverse a broad spectrum of technical and delivery disciplines. This Agile approach to delivery assurance may demand multi-tasking on multiple work streams or a concentrated focus on a specific topic to meet our business needs.
• Working within our strategic cloud alliances (AWS/Azure) you will act as a business enabler with our partners to oversee strategic workstreams, target and retain accreditation and recommend initiatives and workstreams as part of a Cloud business development roadmap.
• Work as part of a leadership team with a shared set of objectives to improve the customer experience whilst evolving our delivery model to meet the changing needs of both our own organisation and our client portfolio.
• You will be regarded as a SME within your field of expertise and will provide strong and clear communications at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality leadership, strong communications, commercial awareness, and customer focus to maximise your impact within the delivery lifecycle.
• Direct line management of approx. 6 FTE’s with indirect management responsibility across a growing area of around 30 cloud professionals.
• Work with our strategic alliances.
• Promotion of Agile ways of working.
• Promote the use of Automation and reusable artefacts to continuously evolve your area.
• Develop the levels of expert knowledge, skills and certification.
• To facilitate and support the career and personal development of team members through regular 1-2-1 sessions and where appropriate identifying improvement opportunities.
• Create and present MI (KPI’s) to represent your area within the wider professional services framework.
• To ensure the team focus on quality, best practice standards, the effective use of time and budget criteria in the delivery of projects, support activity and training.
• Works collaboratively within the delivery lifecycle to identify any gaps in skillset with the aim of providing a training plan to alleviate any gaps and to ensure the most appropriate people are assigned to delivery projects in terms of skills set and customer knowledge.
• Ensuring team productivity and utilization are maintained to a high level and recommend workforce management controls in line with demand profiles.
• Act as a key interface with customers, vendors, partners, and colleagues to meet customer requirements and contribute positively to continuously improving customer satisfaction levels.
