We are a specialist Insurance recruiter, currently recruiting for a Commercial Account Executive to join one of the top Insurance Brokerage in the UK.
Purpose of the Commercial Account Executive Role:
To develop and maintain a portfolio of clients that encourages long term relationships, encompassing new business, renewals and adjustments through client contact, the preparation of presentations and the maintenance of manual and IT-based office systems.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Account Executive:
Taking a pro-active approach in identifying client needs and objectives. Contacting clients at renewal to discuss changes over the policy period in advance of the renewal. Negotiating terms and rates with insurers and performing market exercises where necessary. Assessing product suitability in line with the clients needs and requirements. Providing detailed renewal reports to clients for their consideration.
Mid Term Adjustments:
Dealing effectively with client requests including changes in cover and risk when required throughout the year to an existing book of business.
Processing internal accounts & client payments. Ensuring prompt payment of premiums both by the client and insurer.
Participating in new business initiatives by identifying key areas where additional cover can be provided that would be appropriate and beneficial to their needs.
Recognising other areas within an organisation that would benefit from the company’s services.
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm
