Role of Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst:
As a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst, you will provide high-quality analysis and insight within the financial planning & reporting team, creating management information including monthly financial performance packs. Driving the development of management information for executive management.
You will analyse, monitor, understand and predict the impact of key variables on the financial metrics of the business and provide expertise and insight into the margin performance of the business and identify and recommend commercial actions. You’ll Build, develop and own forecasting models that support monthly reporting and the annual business plan process and be responsible for the consolidation of planning and forecasting activities and supporting the reporting into the wider group.
Assist in the maintenance of adviser records to ensure appropriate retention rates are being applied and will liaise with staff at all levels within the company including involvement in ad hoc projects across the business.
You’ll need excellent organisation and planning skills to manage a variety of processes. You’ll be intuitive and a fast learner with commitment and motivation – work volumes are varied so you will be expected to cope with this and manage your time effectively. You’ll be able to work under pressure remaining focused and calm and provide a positive and professional focus.
Ideally, you’ll be part qualified, studying towards a Professional Qualification (AAT / CIMA / ACCA) with a working knowledge of MS Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint is desirable.
