About the Role:
Reporting to the CIO, this role is accountable and responsible for the architecture, development, and management all Business Support Systems (BSS) across the group companies and divisions. Systems include Microsoft Dynamics Navision/Business Central for Finance management, Dynamics CRM for Leads/Opportunity/Pipeline management, ServiceNow ITSM and CSM instances for projects delivery, support. Other internal systems integrated with these systems may fall under the purview of this role.
The role holder with be expected to build and maintain good working relationships with the business process owners for the systems and managed a small team of developers/architects responsible for ensuring that all systems meet business and operational requirements.
Systems Integration: Working with the CIO and divisional heads to manage, develop and implement a systems architecture that supports standardization and streamlining of the businesses on common system capabilities, with a focus on “fit-for-business” implementation. Ensuring system architecture and integration is engineered to support continuous improvement (regular software release life cycles, lose coupled integration, configuration over customization). Ensuring that customer service delivery and service availability processes are supported by fit for purpose support systems capable of scaling to meet the needs of the customer base.
Systems Development: Maintain and develop the business support systems including Microsoft Dynamics (CRM, NAV), ServiceNow and associated applications. Ensure effective testing and implementation.
Programme Alignment: Ensure that the management of all systems projects are directly aligned to the business integration plans and that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Ensure the deployment of a robust project management methodology to and effective implementation and transition of systems development projects.
Stakeholder management: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders. Ensure systems are developed and supported in lines with operational and business service levels
