About the Role:
The Microsoft Alliance Manager is a senior role in helping to drive key strategic and thought-provoking strategies within the business.
Deepening the relationships that already exist and helping to secure both inbound and outbound opportunities. Influencing revenue through Microsoft to leverage the incentives and rebates available as part of the Microsoft partnership program. Developing a full understanding of how as a partner we are measured by Microsoft and managing our scorecard to ensure that the joint relationship is productive for the business and Microsoft.
Key and strategic role in building and defining Microsoft Azure Cloud services and propositions. Working with key partners and business stakeholders to influence the go-to-market themes and strategic enablement workstreams in line with Azure growth objectives.
Working across the business to support the full delivery lifecycle you will help to identify opportunities within the market to ensure we are serving our cloud customers in line with partner and industry best practices whilst maximising business growth opportunities.
Building Strong Relationships within Microsoft – Working with the sales teams to ensure a close working relationship with Microsoft sellers aligned to their accounts and sectors. Build strong relationship with Microsoft Sales Managers and Executives.
Promote Strong Brand Awareness – Be a brand champion, familiar with our specialist cloud services portfolio to Raise awareness within Microsoft of Cloud Services through social media, GTM campaigns and partner / industry events.
Achieving the Highest Microsoft Partner Status – Maintains and achieves new Competencies, Solution Designations, Specialisations and Azure Expert MSP status.
Maintaining Microsoft Program Status – Maintain access to key Microsoft Partner Programs, such as CSP, FastTrack, Microsoft Supplier Status (for ECIF), Co-Sell Ready Partner and the Teams TAP Program
Business Transformation – Act as an enabler and key contributor as we migrate new and existing customers onto Azure based Services. Support the creation of business case collateral, replacement revenue modelling and customer case studies to celebrate our success.
